How we earn money, and why it does not change what we write.

The basic fact

When you click an operator link on this site and subsequently register an account, Gaming Verdict UK receives a commission from that operator. This is standard practice for comparison and affiliate websites. The ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) and the UKGC both require that this relationship be disclosed, which is why it appears prominently on pages containing those links.

What the commission covers

Commission payments cover the cost of running this site: hosting, domain, editorial work, and data maintenance. We do not receive commission from safety resource organisations (GAMSTOP, GamCare, GambleAware, the UKGC). Those links are included because the information is genuinely useful to players, not because we earn anything from them.

How commission rates affect our comparisons

They do not. Operators that pay higher commission rates do not receive better verdicts, higher placements, or more favourable descriptions. We assess operators on the same fixed criteria regardless of the commercial relationship. An operator with a strong compliance record and fast withdrawals is ranked above one with weak credentials, regardless of which pays more.

There are operators included in this comparison whose verdicts reflect genuine limitations (slower withdrawals, limited game range, smaller live casino). Those verdicts remain accurate. If they were softened for commercial reasons, this site would not function as a comparison resource, which is the only reason it has readers.

Operator relationships

Gaming Verdict UK is not owned by, invested in, or commercially affiliated with any of the listed casino operators beyond the standard affiliate arrangements described above. We have no access to operator back-office systems, player data, or internal business information. All data published here is gathered from publicly available sources, including the UKGC public register, operator product pages, and published terms.

Link format

Operator links use rel="sponsored noopener nofollow" attributes, in line with Google's webmaster guidelines for commercial links. The destination URL is the operator's direct domain. We do not use obscured redirect chains or invented tracking parameters; any tracking is standard affiliate parameter appended by the affiliate network, which is disclosed by the presence of the sponsored rel attribute.

Regulatory compliance

This site operates in compliance with ASA guidelines on affiliate advertising disclosure and relevant UKGC requirements for affiliate operators in the UK gambling sector. If you believe we have failed to disclose a commercial relationship adequately, please use the contact form to report it.
